Wildwood Instruments has opened its first shop in Brunswick, Victoria! Come in and check out our range of beautifully handcrafted instruments, all made on the premises (a real factory outlet!).

Along with all your favourite Wildwood instruments, there are:

Instrument Parts and Accessories - a good selection of Gotoh machine heads, truss rods, bridges, fret wire, glues, soundboards, strings, tuners, capos, leads, beautiful handmade leather guitar/instrument straps, and much more available.

Instrument Making Courses - Coming very soon! Learn to build one of the many Wildwood instruments under the guidance of Nick Carpenter.

Instrument Making Tools - Quality Japanese tools necessary for making and repairing instruments. Includes fine quality general woodworking tools, too.

Tuition - Professional music teachers are available for lessons in guitar and mandolin.

Repairs - Stringed instrument repairs.

Books - We have a large range of instrument making books instore. There are also books on tuition and general woodworking! Come in and have a browse.

CDs - We stock CDs of artists that have recorded or feature a Wildwood Instrument on their albums. Such artists include Shane Howard, Chris While and Julie Matthews, Michael-John Azzopardi, and others.

As you can see from the photos, the space has been completely refurbished for the shop. Many months of work has gone into creating this impressive showroom. With exposed beams and soft lighting, the warmth and character of the space is very inviting. The instrument racks are a feature all on their own. The counter was made by Nick from a multitude of different types of recycled timber. Even if you're not in the market for an instrument, you should drop in just to feel the love of wood in the air!
